Problem: Escalation of priority of actions without human intervention, thereby ensuring timeliness of the actions
Solution:This escalation of priority is done automatically by
EMG without the need for any human intervention. Also, this ensures timeliness of the action, immediately upon encountering the triggering condition in real time.

EMG monitors the condition of assets regularly and generate a Work Order should any of the assets’ rate of change of Spindle Temperature exceed the Allowable Value.

Business Case 1
: Shift Reports |
Problem: Ability to send reports automatically to the Enterprise system on user-defined parameters after a shift ends in the Plant.
Solution:
EMG can be configured to send reports automatically to the Enterprise System at the end of every shift. The reports can be generated for any attribute (or all attributes) for any asset (or all assets) depending on user preference. The sequence of steps is explained logically. |
Scene 1: Shift has ended in a Plant.
Scene 2: EMG listens to the Plant System for an End of Shift (EOS). Therefore as soon as the EOS occur, the Listener (which is a component of
EMG that listens to any changes that happen in the plant) immediately picks it up.
Scene 3: EMG gets the shift information from the plant and pushes that information to the Enterprise as End of Shift reports.

Business Case 2: Preventive Maintenance |
Problem: To automatically get the Cycle counts of Assets so that Preventive Maintenance Work Orders can be generated from the Enterprise. |
Solution
: In this case, the user can get a report on the Total Cycle Count for assets as a regular report. The user can also specify the frequency in which the report needs to be generated automatically (ex: weekly/monthly/yearly etc.) and sent to the Enterprise.
